Don Henley & Glenn Frey

Most of this is really piano, but guitar does come in after the
second verse. Have fun with it, and if you have any questions
about chords just e-mail me. Also, if you have the album, check
out Desperado(Reprise) at the end of this piece.

[G] [D/F#]
Don't you [Em]draw the Queen of [Bm7]Diamonds boy,
She'll [C]beat you if she's able. [G]
You know the [Em7]Queen of Hearts is [C]always your best [G]bet [D/F#]
Now it [Em]seems to me some [Bm7]fine things have been [C]laid upon your [G]table
But you [Em]only want the [A7]ones you can't [Am7]get

[Bm] [Am] Your [G]prison is wal[Em]kin' through this [A7]world all [D7]alone

[G] [D/F#]
Don't your [Em]feet get cold in the [Bm7]winter time ?
The [C]sky won't snow and [G]the sun won't [D/F#]shine
It's [Em7]hard to tell the [C]night time from the [G]day [D/F#]
You're [Em]losin' all your [Bm7]highs and lows
Ain't it [C]funny how the [G]feelin' goes a[Am7]way

DESPERADO (Reprise) Don Henley & Glenn Frey Eagles Desperado This song is basically just fingerpicking these chords in the intro, then strumming for the end. It's really cool, and I can't think of a better way to end Desperado than this little song. It's definitely my favorite on the album. Don't forget the capo. *capo up 2 frets* This is the intro, played on acoustic guitar with a slide throughout. There's a banjo playing the chords shown above it, after it ends, the banjo and acoustic do some fingerpicking until the chorus comes in, then they just strum the chords. Also, a 2 in the tab means open string with the capo on.
