Best work: Take it to the Limit
Randy is my Eagles bass player of choice, because he too was a part of that Eagles country
sound. Randy's bass lines just kick; listen to Outlaw Man or One of These Nights
to realize that. I also enjoy many of his songs, with Take it to the Limit and Try
and Love Again being my favorites. I personally feel that Meisner's voice was somewhat weak
and screachy in the beginning, but he improved his singing immensely later in their career
and I enjoy his voice very much. It is unfortunate that he decided to leave, because he was
an integral part of the band.
